The waterproofing geomembranes of our production line Cover Up System are made of reinforced polyethylene and they are the result of years of research and development gained during the years in the environmental field.
They are characterised by:

NET DOWN

INNOVATIVE ANCHORING SYSTEM

Icon Wind

Net Down is a special net used to anchor the Cover Up geomembranes in landfills coverings. It has been designed to contrast the dangerous action of the wind which can compromise the landfill covering.

Icon Safety

Net Down reduces up to 80% the use of traditional anchoring systems included manpower. Sandbags and tyres are not handy and are non-compliant with the environmental, health and occupational safety standards.

Icon UV Rays

Net Down protects the underlying geomembrane providing a U.V. filter screen up to 60%. It is available in 6-meter-wide rolls with a lenght of 100 meters and it is welded by hot air welder or sewing machine.

REDUCTION OF LEACHATE COSTS IN LANDFILL

Description

Locality: Istanbul - TR

Area: 50.000 sqm

Average annual rainfall: 854 mm, 70% rainfall becomes leachate

Leachate depuration cost estimate: 0,854 m × 0,7 × 50.000 sqm = 29.890 cbm/years of leachate

Assumption of a leachate disposal cost: 20,00 €/cbm

You get: 28.890 cbm/years × 20,00 €/cbm = 597.800,00 €/years

Cover Up + Net Down temporary capping cost: 200.000 €

Conclusion

Cover Up + Net Down are already repaid, in this case, in the first four months of use.
Moreover, extra economic bonus, increased biogas capture and qualitative results.
